About Exterior Decorative Concrete Overlays

        Decorative exterior concrete overlays are the perfect solution to drab ugly concrete surfaces such as porches , patios , driveways , pool decks ,sidewalks ect. Decorative overlays offer unlimited patterns, textures and colors to choose from. When installed and sealed correctly a decorative overlay becomes two times harder than the existing concrete that it is applied to, it is also stain resistance to oil, gas, salt and other things that will normally stain or destroy regular concrete. It is also guaranteed not to delaminate from your existing concrete.

        Decorative concrete overlays are not epoxy based product, they are a polymer modified concrete that is designed to be applied in a thin layer (1/6” to 1/4”) over existing concrete surfaces. They are the perfect solution for concrete surfaces that have salt damage on the surface or concrete surfaces that always have to be repainted to keep up their appearance. A good decorative concrete overlay will last a lifetime and the only maintenance required is that it will need an inexpensive resealed every 3 or 4 years, and the reseal is to only keep it stain resistance.

        Decorative concrete overlays are the perfect solution for concrete that have ugly cracks in it. The cracks in the concrete can be repaired and the decorative concrete overlay can incorporate the repaired cracks into the grout lines of the design. The reason for incorporating the cracks in the design (usually a random flagstone design) is that the repaired cracks will always come back as a small hairline and will hide inside the grout line. (PS if anyone tells you they can repair crack in exterior concrete and it will not come back please do not believe them)
