Water Base Stain Flooring

        Water base stain flooring is the new alternative option to acid base staining when a more uniformed look is desired. Unlike translucent acid stains that are limited with coloring capabilities and will allow existing stains, patching materials and other imperfections in the concrete to bleed through, water base stains can be applied in a heaver form that will hide these imperfections, or if the concrete is in good condition they can be thinned down when applied to produce translucent rustic effects. Water base stains are by far more versatile than acid stains because they can be controlled as they are being applied, thus resulting in unlimited coloring and design capabilities. With water base stains creating realistic marble, granite, travertine and other effects or not off limits anymore, thus allowing unlimited freedom with coloring and flooring designs.

        As with all existing concrete floors the condition of the concrete and the desired effect that is trying to be achieved will determine the price.
